I very sadly just learned of Linda's passing. My deep condolences go to her family. Linda was my art teacher at Perkins; that's how we first met more than a decade ago, and then we became friends and remained so ever since. Linda is the most creative person I ever met. She also was very lively, loving, FUNNY, and always thinking. We had many meaningful and interesting conversations, lots of laughs, and we shared the joy of art. I learned so much from Linda and always valued her artistic input more than virtually every other artist I know. Linda genuinely loved art, and I trusted her and could be vulnerable with her when it came to my own art. I will miss her so terribly much, my friend, Linda -- truly one-of-a-kind. Her bright yellow light has left this earth way too soon, but it will lovingly remain in my heart. I am very grateful that our paths crossed. Rest in peace, dear Linda. --Diana Ippolito
