It's hard driving by your home DOM, knowing I won't see you during the summer and fall months selling the best Jersey Tomatoes money can buy. Possibly the best tomatoes anyone grew in the state. Thank you the years of dedication providing the community with outstanding service, the best fruit and Sicilian Eggplant and finest strawberries I have ever tasted, Not to mention peaches and Jersey corn sweet as sugar. I'll definitely miss you yelling at me about the weight of the fruit, always giving me a break or rounding the cost down. You were a blessing to everyone that knew you.
I did not know of your WWII status and medals of honor but comes as no surprise, you were and outstanding person and will be greatly missed by many. See you on the other side, I know you will have a huge garden of the best fruits & veggies in heaven and can't wait to cut into one of your fine red ripe jersey tomato's with you. Take care my friend it's time to rest.
