Nieves was a woman of great faith; who first and foremost loved God above all else. By her example, she shared this profound love with family, friends, and everyone she encountered . Whether it was a simple smile or a story of a Saint, she touched many lives by being a witness of God’s love. She went to Mass daily. It was from this beautiful Sacrament of the Eucharist that she drew strength to live a life of true charity. She had a profound love of the Rosary, which she propagated as a means of eternal salvation. She loved her husband, daughters, son in laws, siblings, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and godchildren and friends with a pure, giving heart! She enjoyed cooking for the summer camps, for her family, and for all who needed a quick meal. Without hesitation, she opened her heart and home to all.  This beautiful, generous soul will always be remembered for her kind smile, her giving and generous spirit, her great faith and love of Jesus and Mama Mary.
