Obituary of Agustin Rosario-Alvarez
Agustin Rosario-Alvarez, age 90 years of Camden, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021 in Kissimmee, FL.
Beloved husband of the late Carmen. Dear stepfather of Bienvenido Diaz, Hector Diaz, Jose Graulao, Norma Belencire, Mildred Campbell and the late Theresa Belencire-Diaz. Loving brother of the late Apolinar, Valentino, Tina and Aleja Rosario. Also survived by special niece and caretaker, Milagros Rodriguez and her husband Freddy as well as many other loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement, Agustin was employed as a butcher for many years in Philadelphia. He was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Fatima Church in Camden and a member of the Sociedad del Santo Nombre de Jesus. Agustin enjoyed playing the accordion when he was younger.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 8:30-10 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church, 642 Market Street in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
