Matthew Sviben

Obituary of Matthew T. Sviben

Matthew T. Sviben, age 28 years of Camden, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved son of Michael F. Jr. and Kathleen (nee Demiani).  Loving brother of Michael F. Sviben III (Alisha) and Michelle Scibelli (Phillip).  Devoted uncle of Elise, Dominic, Sydney, and Gabriel.  Dear grandson of his maternal grandmother, Patricia Demiani (nee Gresch) and maternal grandfather Harry Demiani.  Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, coworkers and his faithful and trusted companion, Milo.

Matthew graduated in 2012 from the Pennsauken Tech Vocational School and continued his education at Camden County College, graduating in 2018 with his Associate’s Degree in Computer Science.  While going to college he worked at Home Depot in Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel.  Matthew graduated from the Camden County Police Academy in January of 2020 and was looking forward to a career in law enforcement where he wanted to make a difference in his community.

Matthew enjoyed kayaking, fishing and attending car shows.  He was a hands on guy, who could fix and build just about anything.  While his greatest passion was rebuilding his Flyin Mazda Miata, his biggest joy was being close with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 3-5 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N.
