Obituary of Grazia Iacovino
Grazia "Graziella" Iacovino (nee Visceglia), age 77 years of Westmont and Stone Harbor, passed away on October 1, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Iacovino. Devoted mother of Donato Iacovino, Gianni Iacovino, Joseph Iacovino, Jr. (Antonella), Luciano Iacovino, and Antonietta Mariottini (Gian Luca). Loving grandmother of Francesco, Giuseppe, Antonio, Marinella, Grazia, and Chiara. Dear sister of Anna, Vincenzo, and the late Leonarda, Suora Ignazia, Pasquale, Francesco, and Giuseppina. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Graziella spent her life practicing her faith, which anchored her in everything she did. She worked for many years in Italy and Switzerland as a Registered Nurse and also as a missionary in Zambia, Africa before moving to the US where she married her husband, Joseph. Together they raised their five children. Graziella was also the owner and chef of Graziella's restaurant, with one location being open for 16 years in Haddon Township and another for 19 years in Stone Harbor. There, she touched the hearts of her customers through her warmth and passion. Graziella taught cooking classes at both of these locations over the years and wrote a cookbook to share with her clients. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, gardening, cooking and baking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved being a grandmom.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 9:30 - 11 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Church of St. Vincent Pallotti, 901 Hopkins Road A, Haddonfield, NJ 08033, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.
In lieu of flowers, please have a Mass said in Grazia's memory.
