Ray M. Villanueva, age 71 years old of Williamstown, passed away suddenly on September 19, 2021 in Sarasota, FL.
Beloved husband of Elba Maritza (nee Davila). Loving son of the late Blas F. Villanueva and Victoria Aldaya. Devoted father of Tina Guzmán (Adriana Burgos), Tracey Santiago (Ephraim), and Tara Trinity Villanueva. Caring grandfather of Gabriella Santiago, Joshua Santiago, and Kai Villanueva. Dear brother of Blas F. Villanueva, Jr., Michael LeRoy Villanueva, and the late Marcella Villanueva. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends.
Ray, also known as The Hawaiian Hawk, was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed watching movies and playing poker, especially Texas Holdem. In Ray's spare time, he enjoyed cutting the grass, not only his own, but many of his neighbor's as well. He was an avid woodworker, building many things over the years including the bar and deck at his home. Most of all, Ray enjoyed being a GP and playing with his grandkids.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Memorial on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM. Final disposition will take place privately. Please wear masks at all times while inside the Funeral Home and please pay your respects in a timely manner in order to allow others to do the same. At the family's request, please either wear black or Eagle's green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Ray's mother in law, Maria Davila, and in honor of his daughter, Tracey's father in law, John Camera, to Alzheimer's Association at 3 Eves Drive Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
