Obituary of Hai Van Nguyen

Hai Van Nguyen passed away on October 15, 2021 in Pennsauken at 65 years; Beloved husband of Thuy Dang and his daughter Angel Nguyen; Also survived by the mother of his two children, Hao Nguyen; Loving father of Tara Nguyen and Ho Nguyen (Co Tran); Cherished grandfather of Ryan, David and Sophia; Dear brother of Phuc Nguyen and many siblings in Vietnam.

Hai immigrated to the US in 1990 with his brother Henry and daughter Tara. As a single father, he worked hard to bring his immediate family to NJ, and supported his brothers and sisters in Vietnam. He served in the Vietnam war, and had endured rheumatoid arthritis for many years. Despite the challenges, Hai is feisty and funny.  He loves his friends and family, and he is generous to help everyone in his community. 

Hai loved football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He occasionally enjoyed playing card games.

He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.

Relatives & friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Friday, October 22nd from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday, October 23rd from 9 to 11 AM at Falco Caruso & Leonard Funeral Homes, 6600 Browning Road in Pennsauken.

Cremation to follow at Harleigh Crematory in Camden.
