Obituary of George Lovett
George Lovett, age 80 years of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly at home on October 24, 2021.
Beloved husband of Barbara A. (nee Green) for 38 years. Devoted father of Kelly Krwawicz (Ted), George Lovett (MeiShu), Kevin (Keisha), Meghan and Danny. Loving grandfather of Marlene, Justin, Morgan, Maya, Alexander, Hadassah and Ethan. Dear brother of Mary Anne Deveraux, Kas Meyer and the late Vincent, John, Ida and Elizabeth. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Henrietta Lovett and his faithful four legged companion, Browser.
Prior to retirement, George was employed at the Pennsauken Transportation Company as a bus driver for 10 years. He was an avid Penn State Nittany Lions fan as well as a Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. George was the former president and coach for the Rosedale Boys Club in Camden and was involved for many years as a coach with PYAA, coaching each one of his children. He took pride in his singing voice, creative poems and his smooth moves on the dance floor.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 6-8 PM and Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Ave in Merchantville. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
