Obituary of Evelyn L. Williams

Evelyn Loreen Spady-Williams was born February18th 1954 to Paul and Dolores Spady. Evelyn was the 2nd eldest child to a family of 7. Evelyn was baptized at Sharon Baptist church 59th and Catherine Philadelphia PA at an early age. She was educated in the Philadelphia public school system graduating from John Bartram high school in 1972 and went straight to work at mercy Douglas hospital and later worked at Philco Ford. Evelyn went on to school to complete her business degree and work for Allison systems for many years, later retired from  Paths LLC in 2020.

Evelyn came from a large family where she was greatly loved which also included her church family Christ Baptist Church. Evelyn loved her church and never missed an opportunity to attend many of the church functions. Evelyn was a diva she loved fashion shopping and all Asian décor. When younger she loved fast cars Datsun 280Z and high boots. Evelyn also loved hosting gatherings luncheons and girls days out. Evelyn had a green thumb, many thriving plants inside and outside of the house.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father Paul Winfield Spady and her oldest sister Sharon Jones.  Evelyn leaves to cherish her memories with her mother Dolores G Spady, her two sons Terry Spady and Dominique Williams, along with her siblings Paul Stewart, Anita Spady, Dolores and Larry Moore, Michael and Elaine Fisher, Jacqueline  Spady, an aunt  Marie Spady, a host of grandchildren China Felix-Spady, Tyler Felix-Spady,  Porsche Fagley, Tristan Mahorney, Adam Diggs, Diaja Diggs, Matthew Diggs, Olivia Williams, Alyssa Williams, and a host of nieces and nephews extended family and church family her loving friends, Shirley Scotton-Crews, Sandra King-Paynter, Shannon Stephens.

Relative and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 9-10 AM at the Christ Baptist Church, 950 Jacksonville Road, where a Celebration of Life Home Going Service will be celebrated at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
