Obituary of Carmen Plaza

Carmen Plaza, age 68 of Stratford, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2021.

Beloved partner in life of Pedro Diaz; Devoted mother of Yolanda Fernandez, Marisol Ortiz (Leonardo Perez), Theresa Figueroa (Peter Collazo) and stepmother of Kiana Diaz; Loving grandmother of Jacqueline, Jacy, Michael, Briana, Brandon, Chanel, Alex, Javier, Karina and great grandmother of Sean, Jenesys, Neveah, Lucas and her baby Zion; Dear sister of Silvia Plaza, Juanita Velez, and Michael Tobi. She is also survived by special nieces Milly Figueroa and Lorry Gracia and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Carmen enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, shopping, playing bingo, going to the casinos and salsa dancing.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at St. Joseph Pro Cathedral, 2907 Federal Street in Camden. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
