Obituary of Maria F. Ruiz
Maria F. Ruiz, age 80 years of Pennsauken, passed away on April 18, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.
Devoted mother of Angel R. Gonzalez and Nivea I. Lopez. Loving grandmother of Melitza M. Lopez, Philip G. Lopez, Ricardo Gonzalez, Eva Gonzalez and Izzy Gonzalez. Dear sister of Isabel Sanchez, Marta Betances, Confesor Ruiz and the late Francisco Lugo and Eduvije Ruiz. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Prior to retirement, Maria was a teacher with the Camden Board of Education for 30 years. She also was a substitute teacher at St. Joseph Pro Cathedral School. Maria enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching her favorite TV shows Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Maria was family oriented and spent time volunteering at St. Joseph Day Care.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
