Obituary of Robert "Bob" J. Piekarski

Robert "Bob" Piekarski, age 77 years of Pennsauken, NJ passed away on May 5, 2022.

Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Flaherty). Devoted father of Rob and John J. Piekarski (Catherine). Loving grandfather of Shauna, JJ, and Cole. Dear brother of Debbie Moran (Patrick). Caring uncle of Kevin, Sean (Christina), Michael, Linda, Cathy (Bill), John, Frankie, Jimmy (Barbara), Theresa, Danny, and many other cousins and friends. Cherished nephew of Myrtle Borodziuk. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Stella Piekarski, his brother, Edward C. Piekarski, and many aunts, uncles, and other family members.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Piekarski was employed for over 50 years as a computer operator and later programmer for many large insurance companies. Bob was a self-taught mainframe programmer. Aside from computers, he also loved watching TV and movies, music, and cooking.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 8:30 - 10:30 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Road in Pennsauken. Final disposition will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 with the message in memory of Robert J. Piekarski in honor of Dr. Geoffrey Zarella.
