Obituary of Joan Iris Weber

Joan I. Weber (nee Klatt), age 88 of Pennsauken, passed away on July 30, 2022 at her home in Pennsauken.

 

She is the beloved wife of 65 years of John L. Weber; Devoted mother of John R. (Bonnie Chellman), Diane (Dennis) Trost, Janice (Michael) Annarelli, Carolyn Weber, Lisa (Phillip Pelura) Weber-Marioni, and Stephen Weber (Jill Williams); Loving grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 2.  She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Marie Klatt and her beloved sister Barbara Maxwell

 

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Weber worked for many years as an assistant teacher in the Pennsauken School System. She was very active in town, working with the Learn to Swim program, serving as secretary of the Pennsauken Historical Society, and taking on various positions with the PTA from local all the way to the state level. She was also extremely crafty, and enjoyed tole painting, calligraphy, sewing, and making silk flower arrangements and homemade decorations.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of Mary, Queen of All Saints, 4824 Camden Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08110. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901 or to Mary, Queen of All Saints Church at the above address.
