Obituary of Gerinardo Maldonado
Gerinardo "Gerry" Maldonado, age 74 years of Clementon, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2022 at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees.
Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Kender) for 33 years. Devoted father of Tamika "Tammy" Maldonado (Norman), Gerinardo "Eddie" Maldonado Jr., and Matthew Maldonado (Nicole). Loving grandfather of Dano, Darian, Justina, Roman, Aidan, Matthew, Romello, Madalynn and Elizabeth and great grandfather of Maria. Dear brother of Miriam, Ana, Bioletta, and Irma. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement in 2010, Gerry was employed with DYFS in many capacities for 30 years. He was a United States Marine veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Gerry was an avid Raiders fan and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. He also liked bowling, playing softball and golf. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish at St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road in Blackwood, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. FInal disposition will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chews Landing.
