Obituary of Roberto Rivera
Roberto Rivera, age 69 years, of Camden, a fearless fighter to the very end, eventually succumbed to cardiac arrest Saturday evening September 24, 2022.
Beloved husband of Magna G. (nee Tirado). Devoted father of Cinthia Rivera, Angel Pacheco (Emerson Biazi), Jacqueline Rivera (Jorge Garcia), Ana Edwards (Lavar) and Jasmine Felix (Hector). Loving grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Maria Garcia, Jorge Rivera, Walter Rivera, Virginia Rivera and Juan Luis Rivera. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement, Roberto worked as a truck driver for Waste Management in Camden for 25 years. In his younger years, he loved to play baseball, dance salsa with his wife and play horseshoes. As he got older, Roberto enjoyed playing dominos and having nice cars and maintaining them. He was an active member of 27th Street Rival Center in Camden for the last 16 years. His laughter and his talkative nature will be immensely missed. His way of bringing a smile to others will not go unnoticed. Playing his favorite game “Bingo”, will not be the same without him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6-7:30 PM and Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday evening at 7:30 PM. Interment will take place on Saturday at 10 AM at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
