Obituary of Rosa M Ramirez

Rosa M. Ramirez (nee Guerra), age 80 of Camden, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She is the beloved wife of Roberto Ramirez; Devoted mother of Nancy Rodriguez (Alex) and Melissa Portscheller (Tai); Loving grandmother of Shania Jimenez, Joana Portscheller and Ariana Rodriguez; Dear sister of Aida Rodriguez (Pedro) and Ana Morales (Bienvenido).

Prior to her retirement, Rosa was employed with the Diocese of Camden at St. Joseph Pro Cathedral School for many years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph Pro Cathedral, and founding member of both Camden Churches Organized for People and the St. Joseph Carpenter Society and was a past president of CCOP.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM and Friday from 9 to 11 AM at St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral, 2907 Federal Street in Camden, where a non-denominational service will be held at 8 PM Thursday, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Carpenter Society, 20 Church Street, Camden, NJ 08105, Attn: Rosa Ramirez Scholarship.
