Obituary of Merida Rodriguez
Merida Rodriguez (nee Ayala) age 96 years of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on November 11, 2022.
Devoted mother of Arq. Carlos Raul Rodriguez (Rosalie), Marie Datil and the late Luis Rodriguez (Janet). Loving grandmother of Sandra Yvette Dones, Carlos Ramon Rodriguez and Aaron Luis Datil and great grandmother of Jonathon, Emilia, Gabriella and Selah. Dear sister of Jorge Ayala and the late Ramonita, Roberto, Manuel, Rodrigo, Maria, Virginia and Adalgisa. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement in 1990, Merida worked as a seamstress at Robert Bruce in Philadelphia for over 25 years. She was a Cursillista, enjoyed sewing and cooking, but most of all she cherished time spent with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 6-8 PM and Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM at Mary, Queen of All Saints Parish, 4824 Camden Ave in Pennsauken. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310 Marlton, NJ 08053.
