If you needed help with anything at at Pennsauken's Central Administration Building, Mickey was the person to see. She treated everyone like family, with patience,kindness and a sense of humor. After I retired I would look forward to seeing her and Marc at Wegmans. She was still the same. My condolences to her wonderful family.

Although Mickey and I had never met, we became friends via phone calls between us through our schools. Mickey was my "go to contact person" whenever we were servicing homebound students at our programs, we always had such nice conversations. I know she was always respectful and caring and know what an asset she was to the School District and to all who knew her.

So sorry for your loss. Mickey and I worked together for many years. I met Mickey when she rode my bus as an aide from one school to another. Mickey then went to work with the C.S.T. and I as a secretary for Transportation which kept us in touch with each other. Eventually she got the job in the superintendent's office and our friendship continued. I can tell you she glowed when she spoke of her family. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

I will always treasure the fun times we had at Number Five School going to Coffee Klatches, the creativity of her sisters and the awesome ideas they came up with to raise funds for scholarships. We also had a blast going to the Teacher's Convention in Atlantic City long before there were any Casinos. But most of all, the love we shared for one another as caring parents supporting our children. The Fornito's are a beautiful family, well respected and lots of fun. Truly she will be missed.

Mickey was the smile that greeted me from behind her desk, a hearty, "take some candy with you ", a person who always had the to have a short friendly chat, who asked about your family and very eager to share about her own.
