Obituary of Angel L. Soto
Angel L. Soto, age 89 years of Pine Hill, passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2023 after long a battle with lung cancer.
Beloved father of Magda (Diego), Edwin (Abby) and the late Orlando. Loving grandfather of Jose III (Carmen), Mike (Janette), Lourdes (Jay), Orlando, and Jorge. Cherished great grandfather of Jose IV, Joshua, Jonathan, Mark, Grace, Cecilia and great great grandfather of Amayah. Dear brother Emilio, Teresa, Freddy, and Jose. Also survived by his loving nephew, Jose.
Prior to retirement, Angel worked as a sous chef for many years. He had perfected his prep work in the kitchen so well, other chefs would specifically ask for Angel to cook with them. Prior to moving to New Jersey, Angel lived in New York for many years, where he enjoyed going to Coney Island and taking walks on the beach and boardwalk. Angel was always dressed in a suit no matter where he went, always dressing his best. He also loved playing pool, going to happy hour, and listening to music. Most of all, Angel loved spending time with his family and had the strongest bond with his daughter, Magda.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Road, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
