Obituary of Felipe Santiago

Felipe “Paco” Santiago Colon, age 88 years of Pennsauken, formerly of Camden, passed away on March 18, 2023. 

Devoted father of Raynaldo Santiago (Evelyn), Robert Santiago (Lena), Diana Santiago Colon (Jabiel), Felipe Santiago II and the late Maria Santiago.  Loving grandfather of 15, great grandfather of 17, and great great grandfather of 3.  Dear brother of the late Reynilda Santiago Colon and Sixta Santiago Colon.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Prior to retirement, Felipe was owner of La Famosa Furniture Store in Camden for over 15 years.  He loved baseball and was an avid Dodgers fan.  Felipe coached and played softball for Los Potros and Santa Isabel teams in Puerto Rico and the Dodgers team in Camden.  He was a numbers man and liked to play the lottery, bet on the horses and do scratch offs.  Felipe enjoyed playing dominos and ran a social club, Club Santa Isabel on Benson Street in Camden.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 5-6:30 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home.  Final disposition will take place in Puerto Rico with his late mom, dad and sisters.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the NJ Food Bank Southern Branch, 6735 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ 08234.
