Obituary of Maximo Febus, Sr.

Maximo Febus, Sr., age 93 years of Sicklerville, formerly of Magnolia, passed away on April 27, 2023. 

Maximo was born on February 20, 1930 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico to the late Eustacio Febus and Carmen Vazquez. Beloved husband of the late Carmen Negron-Febus. Devoted father of Luz Febus-Melendez (Rafael), Josephine Guzman (Rafael), Jose A. Febus, and the late Maximo Febus, Jr. Loving grandfather of Jose "Tony" A. Febus, Jr., Jessica Rice (Bruce), Jovoni A. Febus, and Jocelyne Valentin and great grandfather of Camila Rose Rice and Ariana Vai Rice. Dear brother of Adrian Febus and Felicita Febus.

Maximo loved dominos and playing lottery tickets. He enjoyed smoking Garcia cigars, gardening, and cooking. Most of all, Maximo loved being around family.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 6-8 PM and Monday, May 8, 2023, from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
