Obituary of Anderson Hernandez

Anderson Hernandez, age 57 of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly on May 22, 2023 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. He was born on March 18, 1966 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to the late Simon A. Hernandez and Amalia (nee Rodriguez).

He is the beloved husband of over 25 years to Angelina (nee Caba); devoted father of Brandon, Emeline, Anderson Jr. and Iverson Hernandez; dear brother of Marisol, Elvis, Wilson, Elizabeth, Richard, Rolando, Luis and Dolores; and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Anderson had a passion for baseball, particularly as a fan of the New York Mets. He found great enjoyment in cheering for his team and sharing his enthusiasm with fellow fans.  He enjoyed the warmth of bonfires and the company of loved ones gathered around. He appreciated the flavors of red meat and a cold Corona. Engaging in friendly games of dominoes provided him with moments of relaxation and laughter.   Anderson had a lighthearted spirit and loved sharing jokes and lighthearted pranks. His sense of humor was contagious, and his playful nature will be remembered with fondness.

One of Anderson's greatest qualities was his deep love for his family. He held them dear and was always ready to offer his support and care. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished the time spent with them.  Anderson will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others. He had a compassionate heart and was known for going the extra mile to lend a hand to those in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM and Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
