Obituary of Allegra Dawn Gliem

Allegra "Allie" Dawn Gliem, age 32 years of Philadelphia & New Jersey, passed away on May 31, 2023.

Beloved daughter of Marie Bovoso and the late Scott Gliem Sr. Dear sister of Scott Gliem and Elijah Gliem. Loving fiancé of Ernie Pace. Cherished stepmom of Anthony Pace. Caring aunt of Avery Gliem and Jackson Gliem. Also survived by her special aunt, Liz, and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Allie obtained a Bachelor's degree from Strayer University, which laid the groundwork for her future endeavors. She found her true calling as the Director of Campus for Strayer University, where she dedicated herself to guiding and supporting students. Allie's passion for education and her unwavering commitment to empowering others were evident in every aspect of her work.

Beyond her professional achievements, Allie had a thirst for adventure and a love for travel. She cherished the opportunity to explore different parts of the world, whether it was relaxing on a beach, admiring mountains, or travelling by plane. Among the destinations she held dear was Thailand, a place that captivated her with its vibrant culture.

Allie faced personal struggles and triumphed over alcoholism, celebrating twelve years of sobriety. Her own journey inspired her to devote her time to helping others find their path to recovery. Allie selflessly offered support, becoming a beacon of hope and strength for those seeking solace and healing. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she always lent a helping hand to those in need.

Allie's sense of humor was contagious, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Allie's ability to make others smile endeared her to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Allie was cherished by many. Her genuine spirit, determination to achieve her goals, and unwavering support for the underdog made her a truly special person in the lives of her friends, family, and colleagues. She was a source of inspiration and a true advocate for those in need.

Above all, Allie treasured the time she spent with her loved ones. She held family and friends close to her heart, cherishing every moment spent together. Allie's love was boundless, and her presence brought warmth and joy to every gathering. Allie also cherished her role as a loving dog mom to Charlie and Mush.

Allie leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered and celebrated. Her unwavering dedication to helping others, infectious laughter, and love for life will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. While we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary individual, we find solace in knowing that her spirit will live on through the lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Gathering on June 9, 2023 from 6-9 PM at The State Room, 7340 State Road, Philadelphia, PA 19136, during which friends and family are invited to share memories and stories of Allie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for the Allegra Gliem Scholarship Fund to assist women in recovery.
