Obituary of Carmen Delia Garcia
Carmen D. Garcia, age 69 years of Camden, passed away suddenly on June 22, 2023.
Carmen was born on April 6, 1954 in Camden, NJ to Delia Garcia and the late Miguel DeJesus Garcia. Devoted mother of Maggie Vazquez (Nathaniel), Kathleen Hernandez (Edilberto Andino), Melvin Hernandez (Jennifer Calo), and Jason Ruiz. Loving grandmother of Rebecca, Shayanne, Yvette, Guy, Justin, Zahara, and Jason and great grandmother of Aubrey, Adrian, Roman, and Guy Jr. Dear sister of Evelyn Garcia, Nixsa Garcia, Gladys Garcia, and Hector Garcia. Beloved partner of Erineo "Flaco" Santiago for many years. Also survived by her dogs Sparky and Minnie and many loving nieces and nephews.
Carmen was very crafty and had a passion for arts & crafts. She had a special talent for drawing. Carmen also enjoyed crafting gift baskets, for birthdays and baby gifts. She loved using her crafting talents when she worked at Flower World, arranging flowers for special occasions. Carmen also worked for many years at Tyco Toys. Carmen had a kind-hearted nature that touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 9-11 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
