Obituary of Carmelo Toledo

Carmelo Toledo, age 84 of Camden, passed away on July 3, 2023 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden.  He was born on July 23, 1938 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Ricardo Cepero and Mercedes Toledo and came to the United States in the late 1940's.

He is the beloved husband of Mary Gonzales; devoted father of Michael A. Gonzales (Yvette Aponte) and Belinda Toledo (Lionel Jimenez); loving grandfather of Michael A. Gonzales Jr. and Gia Wilson and great grandfather of Everly and Hunter; dear brother of Ricardo, Mercedita, Blanca, Luisito and Angel.

Carmelo was a huge fan of the Phillies and Eagles, loved reading and listening to all types of music.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday, July 11 from 6 to 8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  Entombment will take place privately at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.
