Tio Miguel was the most amazing, loving, and caring uncle. He meant the world (and still does) to us (Elsie and her kids). Tio Miguel practically raised us. He has been there with us since we were born. Mom (Elsie) and Tio Miguel always had an unbreakable bond since they were kids. Where ever mom was, Tio Miguel was never far behind. They were always there for each even when no one else was there for them. They got through life together. They were a team through the good times and the bad. The love they had for each other was truly unconditional. There was no limit to the things they would do for each other. No mountain was too high and no valley too low for them.
Tio was always there for us no matter what we needed. I love how I could go to him and talk to him about everything and anything and never feel ashamed or embarrassed. He always knew what to say and do to put a smile on our faces. Tio always loved to cook for us and have movie nights. He has always been like that with us since we were little. He even started this tradition with our kids and more. He would take the kids on little witch hunts in the summer time. He would give the kids flashlights at night and they would walk around with Diamond (Tio’s dog) and look for witches. The kids loved that so much. Tio Miguel was so full of life and he was the happiest when he was around us and our kids. We are extremely sad that he will no longer be creating memories with us; however, we are grateful for the many memories we do have with him. Tio Miguel will forever be in our hearts and never forgotten. We will continue to celebrate him. Although he is no longer here with us in flesh we know that he is with us in spirit.
