Obituary of Margarita Roman

Margarita “Margie” Roman, age 58 years a lifelong resident of Camden, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 20, 2023.

Beloved daughter of Elicin Roman and the late Manuel Roman, Sr.  Devoted mother of Raymond Gonzalez, Lisa Lopez and Victor Leandry (Angeline), Janezza Camacho, and the late Johnathan Vasquez.  Loving grandmother of Jasaray, Rayven, Rayn, Sage, Kianna, Nelson, Jaynoah, Aubrie and Nova.  Dear sister of Nilsa DeJesus, Milagros Roman and Manuel Roman, Jr.  Also survived by her lifelong partner Carmen Gonzalez.

Margie had a strong, stubborn, and independent attitude.  She was fun to be around and definitely did not have a filter.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margie loved Spanish music, especially salsa.  She liked watching novellas, animal planet and Sci-Fi movies.  Margie enjoyed family trips to the beach and Puerto Rico.  Most of all she cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren.
