Obituary of Mary Gonzales
Mary Gonzales, age 85 years of Camden, passed away on October 24, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Carmelo Toledo. Devoted mother of Michael A. Gonzales (Yvette Aponte) and Belinda Toledo (Lionel Jimenez). Loving grandmother of Michael A. Gonzales Jr. and Gia Wilson. Cherished great grandmother of Everly and Hunter.
Mary loved watching cowboy movies, spending time at casinos, and cheering on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Mary also appreciated relaxing with a good vodka cocktail.
Beyond her hobbies, Mary was known for her open heart and open house. Her home was always a welcoming refuge where friends and family gathered, and where she took care of everyone with warmth and generosity. Mary loved nothing more than sitting down in person, engaging in heartfelt conversations, and speaking her mind with honesty and candor. She had a heart of gold, a contagious sense of humor, and an infectious laugh that brightened even the darkest of days.
Family gatherings and holidays were Mary's cherished occasions, where she would pour her love into every moment. She was a person of deep faith, often found in quiet moments, praying for the less fortunate and sending out positive energy into the world.
Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who are left with cherished memories of her laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering love.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 6-8 PM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. Final disposition will take place privately.
