Obituary of Gloria Esther Ortiz

Gloria Esther Ortiz (nee Torres), age 85 of Camden, passed away on February 9, 2024.  She was born on May 2, 1938 in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico.

She is the beloved wife of the late Marcial Ortiz; devoted mother of Velma (Jose) Rivera, Marcos, Silvia, Israel, Noel and the late Mickey and Samuel Maldonado; dear sister of Lucy DeMateo and the late Maria Torres; loving grandmother of 16.  She is also survived by many loving great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Gloria Esther enjoyed crafting, shopping, watching the Golden Girls and socializing with her friends in the Life at Lourdes program.  She also loved spending time with her family and to have her daily avocado.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill.
