Obituary of Ana G. Plasencia

Ana G. Plasencia, age 93 years of Camden, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2024. 

Beloved wife of the late Jose A. Plasencia. Devoted mother of Angelina, Rosita, Ramon, Ana, Miguelina, Miguel Ángel and the late Maria. Loving grandmother of Joselyn, Rosanny, Joey, Junior, Jessica, Jessenia, Raquel, Juan Carlos, Jeffrey, Gledys, Sandra, Fernando, Roberto, Yovanny, Lissette, Livette, Felix, Henry, Francisco, Cherry, Erica, and Yosmery. Cherished great grandmother of many. Dear sister to Eloíso, Secundino, Filomena, Tolentino, Porfirio, Rafael, Ramón, Oscar and Filla.  Predeceased by her parents, Jose and Celida Plasencia and many dear relatives. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Ana enjoyed shopping, cleaning, cooking, eating crabs and traveling home to the Dominican Republic. She loved going to church and praying, especially praying the rosary daily. Ana was a very giving and generous person, always helping those in need. She also loved sewing, gardening, watching Novellas and joking around with family. Ana will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 6-8 PM and on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 9-10 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 2818 River Ave in Camden. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken.
