Juan Caraballo Montañez, age 80 years of Camden, passed away on May 15, 2024.
 
Beloved son of the late Pilar & Amelia Caraballo (nee Montañez). Devoted father of Maritza Caraballo, Zoraida Caraballo (Luis), Juan Caraballo Jr. (Rose), Angel Caraballo, Juan Alberto Caraballo, and the late Alexander Caraballo. Loving grandfather of Maria, Evelio, Jenny, Maritza, Nelson, Luis C., Luis S., Angelica, Juan III, Anthony, Lilian, Jocelyn, Kyle, Seline, Giovanni, Alexi, Agelian, and the late Juan Alberto. Cherished great grandfather of 32 and great great grandfather of 1. Predeceased by one great grandchild, Daniel. Dear brother of Cesar and the late Angel Luis Caraballo Sr. (Margarita) and Luz Maria Caraballo. Also survived by the mothers of his children, Juanita Cruz and Ana Luisa Ayala.
 
Juan was born on May 28, 1943 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. While living in Puerto Rico, he was a proud worker in maintenance for a high rise building and for a car dealership. After moving to New Jersey, he found employment as a plumber and butcher, which he worked for many years. Juan also served in the US Army. Juan loved to be social, playing dominos and hanging with friends and family. He enjoyed playing guitar, electric and acoustic, and spending time with his family. Juan was also very involved with St. Joseph's Pro Cathedral choir.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 9-11 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
