Obituary of Maria M. Ramos

Maria M. Ramos, age 78 years, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to the late Jesus Ramos and Juana Rodriguez.  Her early years were marked by simplicity and a deep sense of family, being one of 12 siblings.  At the age of 13, Maria moved to the United States, where she worked tirelessly as a laborer for over five decades.  

Maria was a beacon of generosity and love.  Her kitchen was not just a place for cooking meals, but a sanctuary where she shared her affection through food and laughter.  She had a gift for making others feel special and valued, always willing to give more than she received.  Maria was a kind soul, and her life was one of resilience, love, and unwavering kindness that touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to her.  

Devoted mother of Wanda, Irene and the late David who passed away at the age of 6 months.  Loving grandmother of Wilfredo and Portia, Jabier, Janelly, and Lola.    

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
