Obituary of Irma Batista

Irma Batista, age 90 years, of Merchantville passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2024.  She was born native to the island of Puerto Rico and was a descendant of the Tiano Indians of the island of Puerto Rico

Dear daughter of the late Julio Batista and Celerina Cruz.  Beloved mother of Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Janette Perez, and Mariline Rodriguez-Gonzalez and her husband Emmanuel.  Loving grandmother of Natasha, Joey, Karen, Goodie, Chic, Chandy, Pacho, Macho, Gringo, and Goldo; Great grandmother of Destiny, Josh, Isaiah, Ivelise, Dominic, Kamil, Kaka, Little Joey, Anna, Jay, Isacca, Zuly, Bang Bang, Joel, Nene, Buggies, and a baby in heaven; Great great grandmother of Lani Ali Elias, Issac, LJay, and Mamas.

Irma was devoted to God, her faith and religion.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting, singing, dancing, and laughing.  Irma always liked to dress her best and was quite the fashionista.  She loved helping others and loved everyone.  Irma took care of others before herself and considered everyone her baby.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside service on Friday, May 7, 2024, promptly at 2 PM at Morgan Cemetery on Cinnaminson Ave in Cinnaminson.
