We are deeply sorry for your loss, Rumel was an amazing and fun person to be around with when we were at Victoria's wedding. We will never forget that day and will always cherish the joyful moments and memories we had with him. Rumel was truly a great person, and we feel honored to have known him. As teens, Rumel was on the football team and I was a cheerleader for the Oaklyn Cougars, thats how we met and the rest is history. Rumel played a very important part in my life, he was my first love. Rumel was such a gentleman who had a way with words and was the coolest kid around who had a lot of friends. It was hard not to fall for his charm and humor. Rumel was so funny! I am beyond grateful to have experienced such a person in this lifetime. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed! Even though life took us in different directions the love always remained the same, I could never forget him. He was special and the memories we’ve made will live on and be cherished forever. My deepest condolences to the Anaya family and everyone affected by this sudden transition. Love Always, Briana.

I can still remember that contagious laugh and hear it and know it is you in any room you walk in. Rumel I’m so happy I got to meet you and be a part of a chapter of your life so long ago. You were one of the bros and damn sure made everyone know it. We went on so many walks and rides and had so many talks. You stood up for everyone who needed it weather they knew it or not I’ll forever remember you. My condolences to the family

The past few years, Mel has brought so much joy and friendship to my life. He is already missed more than I can put into words. He was my best friend and I could always trust and rely on him. His laugh and love for those he cared for was unmatched. I’m so grateful to have had a friend like him.
