Obituary of Thomas Thach
Thomas Thach, age 62 of Pennsauken passed away suddenly at home on July 30, 2024. He was born in Tra Vinh, Vietnam on May 15, 1962.
Thomas followed Buddhist teachings and was a children's educator during his sabbatical monkhood. A refugee from the Vietnam War, Thomas, arrived in the U.S in the May of 1989 and was educated at Buck County Community College. From being a factory line worker, machinist, fabricator, and contractor, Thomas was a man of many trades. He enjoyed spending time at his leisure, whether it be doing home renovations or fishing. He was an avid Eagles fan and could be found Sunday, Monday, and Thursday nights at home watching the game. Thomas was a man who lived well.
He is survived by his partner of 33 years, Lily Nguyen; two sons, Navy Nguyen and Henry Nguyen; his daughter, Jennie Fall, and her husband, Brian Fall; and two grandchildren, Emily and Marina Fall.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Friday, August 2 from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, August 3 from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Buddhist Prayer service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday. Interment will follow at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden.
