Obituary of Daniel Joseph Rodgers

Daniel Joseph "Danny" Rodgers, age 46 and lifetime resident of Pennsauken, passed away suddenly at his home on September 6, 2024.  He was born in Willingboro, New Jersey on September 20, 1977. 

Danny is the beloved son of Daniel F. and Agnes (nee Schlindwein) Rodgers; dear brother of Colleen, Timothy, Michael (Lisa) and Katie Rodgers; cherished uncle of Makayla, Daymon, Ethan, Patrick, Kacey and Allie Rodgers.  He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Danny was a huge Notre Dame football, Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.  He also enjoyed fishing and spending time in Ocean City, NJ. Danny took pride and joy talking about his nieces and nephews.  They were his best friends, his little buddies.  Danny was basically everyone’s big brother their protector.  He wore his heart on his sleeve and would do anything for anyone. He was a gentle giant with an infectious smile and could make anyone laugh.  He brought joy to anyone who met him. To know him was to love him, he was loved by all and will truly be missed.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, September 12 from 6 to 8 PM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM.
