Obituary of Elio Escobar Zapata

Elio Escobar Zapata, age 61 years of Pleasantville, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2024.

Elio was born in Catacamas, Honduras to Arturo Escobar and Angela Zapata. Beloved father of Alvaro Escobar (Hailey), Breny Escobar, and Johnny Escobar (Yajaira). Loving grandfather of Alma, Alina, Breny, Dayanara, and Eilam. Dear brother of Jose Angel Escobar. Also survived by many other loving siblings, nieces and nephews.

Elio was a jokester and very happy man. He loved to make people laugh. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing soccer. He will be remembered as a good father who loved his family in his own special way.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Sunday, September 15th from 8-9 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Camden Funeral Home, 3425 River Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 9 AM. Final disposition will take place privately.
