What a tremendous loss in the earth, but what a glorious gain for heaven! Aunt Nora had such a profound impact on my life. From a very small child I remember how she exemplified beauty, sophistication, poise and dignity. She showed us girls on Princess Avenue what it meant to be a lady. Aunt Nora was always put together from head to toe, spoke eloquently, and was honest and particularly funny. Even as kids she would have us laughing at the way she would tell a story, truly unforgettable. She cared tremendously for her kids and grandkids, who all have the cutest nicknames because of her, and her family as whole. We saw her benevolence in action in how she cared for others who needed her as well. What a huge blessing she was to so many. In her Mary Kay days, she even took the time to love on me and gave me my first facial for the prom. She made sure that I knew that that would be her contribution to my special day, and I will never forget her for her selflessness and kindness. One of the greatest gifts she gave to me was my sister, my friend, Courtney. Sis, I am truly sorry for you and your family's loss and just know that your family from 1051 is here for you and love you beyond measure.
