Heartfelt condolences to the Burgin family. Gary was a gentleman that many looked up to. His gentle demeanor was admirable. Pennsauken has lost a wonderful man for sure. Prayers and positive wishes to all.

Gary was an extraordinary man whose kindness and generosity left a profound impact on my life and the lives of my children. He and June were always there for me during pivotal moments, offering unwavering support and love. I'll never forget Gary's selflessness when he offered up his basement—train display and all—during a challenging time in our lives. Moving those trains was no small offer, and it was such a classic Gary moment: always willing to help, even if it meant uprooting something he loved. Thankfully he didn't have to and we were able to bounce back but I will always remember that he would have if we had truly needed it.
Gary also adored my dog, Daisy, and was always happy to pet-sit her when we went away. She was welcomed with open arms, and I think she loved her time with him as much as he loved having her around.
His dedication to his family, community, and faith was unmatched, as was his passion for serving others, whether as a firefighter, a mentor, or a friend. Gary’s legacy is one of love, service, and devotion, and I will forever be grateful for the compassion and friendship he and his family extended to me.
To June, Abigail, Earl, and Marilyn, please know my heart is with you. Gary’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, and I am privileged to have known him. Rest in peace, Gary—you will be deeply missed.
