Obituary of William J. Sheridan

William "Bill" J. Sheridan, age 89 years, of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024.  

Beloved husband of the late Mary DiMaio-Sheridan (nee Dovi).  Devoted stepfather of Sandra Mezger (William) and Andrew DiMaio (Janet).  Loving grandfather of Jeffrey Stewart, Andrea DiMaio and Melanie DiMaio Hickey, great grandfather of Louis, Anthony, Charles, Paul and Taylor and great great grandfather of Savannah and Asher.  Dear brother of Mary Ann Fritz and the late Joan L. Adams.  Cherished uncle of Karen, Stephanie, Kathleen, Suzanne, Ronald and the late Johnny.  

Bill was born on November 21, 1935, in Camden, NJ to the late William J. and Anna M. Sheridan.  He was a 1955 graduate of Collingswood High School.  Prior to retirement, Bill was employed as a master mechanic for JC Penney for many years and then drove for Safety Bus after retirement for 15 years.  He loved fishing, NASCAR and keeping a pristine yard.   

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10 AM at Mary, Queen of all Saints Parish, Church of St. Cecilia, 4801 Camden Ave in Pennsauken, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cathedral Kitchen, 1514 Federal Street, Camden, NJ 08105.
