Obituary of James Francis Voll

James F. Voll, age 79 of Brigantine, passed away at Cooper Medical Center in Camden on December 31, 2024.  He was born in Philadelphia on December 22, 1945 to the late Francis and Katherine (nee Bush) Voll.

Beloved husband of Rita (nee Schiliro); Devoted father of Rachel McNeil (Sean), Timothy Voll (Jeannine) and Lauren Voll (Anthony Mirante); Loving grandfather of Sophia, Joseph, TJ and Jaelyn; Dear brother of the late Carol DiPretoro and brother in law of Josephine (Charles) Morrow, Maryann (the late Gee) Brady, Tony (Mandy) Schiliro, Donna (Ronnie) Hoffman, James Schiliro, Linda (Danny) Nogowski, and Regina (late Teddy) Kajkowski.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Prior to his retirement, James worked as a systems technician for Verizon in Philadelphia.  He enjoyed trips to the casino and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially rooting for the Eagles.  He was the jokester of the family, famous for his one-liners and ability to make everyone laugh.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Avenue in Merchantville.  Committal will take place privately.
