Obituary of Rafael Perez

Rafael Perez, age 90 years of Camden, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on January 26, 2025.

Beloved husband of the late Benita Vazquez-Perez. Devoted father of Rafael Perez Jr., Reynaldo Perez, Miriam Perez-Martin (Phillip). Loving grandfather of Reynaldo Perez II (Brittany), Gabrielle Perez, Jesse Perez (Ashley), Letizia Arroyo, Alexia Perez, Alec Perez, and Nicholas Perez. Cherished great grandfather of Reynaldo Perez III, Anays, Anaya, Jayden, Isabella, Amari, Noah Perez, and the late Benji Perez. Dear brother of Johnny, Frank, Tony, Rosin, Gloria, Rafaela, Angie, Edna, and the late Domingo and Felix. Also survived by Hermano de Corazon, Junior Rivera, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Rafael was an avid dominos player. He was a huge baseball fan, especially of the San Francisco Giants. Most of all he loved to live life and spend time with his family. He always tried his best to help anyone in need, from family, friends, neighbors and even strangers. He will be remembered as a hard worker, domino champ, very well dressed man that always carried himself with pride and class.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 8:30-10 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 642 Market Street in Camden. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
