Iacovelli, age 91 of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on August 4, 2013. Mary was the beloved mother of Louis Iacovelli and daughter-in-law Debra (Matyas) Iacovelli, and aunt of Donald Mignone, all of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by her beloved sisters Olga Mignone and Gertrude Cavallo, nephew William Mignone, all of Cherry Hill, NJ, niece Michele Czipo of Charlotte, NC, nephew Anthony Cavallo of Berlin, NJ, and brother-in-law Joseph Iatarola of Pennsauken, NJ. Mary was preceded in death in 1979 by John P. Iacovelli, her husband of 32 years. She was also preceded in death by her father Donato Vagliani and mother Francesca (DiMedio) Vagliani, all of Camden, New Jersey. Mary was born in Camden, NJ on August 29, 1921. Mary enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in elementary education and administration. She began her teaching career in 1942 as an elementary school teacher in the Camden Public School system. In 1967, she earned her Master's Degree in Education from Temple University. She served as Administrator of Elementary Education in Camden before moving on in 1969 to Haddon Township, NJ, to serve as principal of Strawbridge and Edison schools. She retired from her career in 1984. In 1986 Mary moved to Cape Coral, FL. She became an active member of Saint Andrew's Catholic Church, as well as contributing her time and talents to many other community and social organizations. She lived her retirement years to the full, enjoying her activities and the time spent with many dear friends along the way. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road.  A funeral mass was held for Mary yesterday at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Cape Coral, FL.
