Dear Family, I was out of town at the time of Alfred's service. However, I wanted to share the very positive feedback about Alfred that I received in speaking to the professors who had him in classes; he was described as a wonderfully gifted student who was a pleasure to have in class and who they would truly miss. And, while I never had the opportunity to meet him, I'm touched by how Alfred left an impact on those who knew him and will keep him and your family in prayer. With deepest sympathy, Julie Mallory Church

I remember AJ in grade school at St. Stephen's. He was in my daughter's class, and I taught art for the years that he was there. AJ was always pleasant and friendly, and no matter what, he was the one I could always count on to give me a big warm smile. I had the pleasure of seeing his performance as Obama for a presentation at Christ Our Light last year. Rest in peace, AJ. You and your family will be in our prayers.

We will always remember you. Your voice in the children's choir will be missed. You will be guardian angel. Eventhought we did not know you personally you gave us so much to us. You always have a smile in your face and that was enough for us. We miss you. Love. We will be praying for your family.

Although I did not have the privilege to know AJ or Stephen I can certainly tell from all that I have read that they were lovely boys and a true gifts from God. Charles is a remarkable child and he is in our prayers for recovery as are you. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Dear Lori and Charles, Our 3 children were touched by the lives of Alfred and Charles during CCHS's fall theatre production of "Miracle on 34th Street." You raised such fine young men and we are certain that Stephen was following in his big brothers' footsteps. Your sons are truly "Miracles" to all who knew them and we will always remember their kindness and sweet spirit. Charles, you are a special angel here on earth with so much life ahead of you. God blessed you with the gift of your mom and family. Hold on tight to one another and know that our prayers for all of you will always be in out hearts. All our love, John, Natalie, Joe, Sarah and Andrew Godley

Nicole was a part of "Miracle On 34th" with Alfred, she was only 7 yrs. old, and Alfred was a true mentor to her. He showed his beautiful personality with his smiles and encouragement...she loved him. I found him to be infectious with his beautiful smile and zest for life. We will always remember and pray for your family,God be with you now and always.
