Bianco (nee Hodge), of Cherry Hill, NJ, age 88 years, passed away on May 9, 2013. Beloved wife of Domenic J. Bianco for 65 years. Loving mother of Carolyn Marley (Bill), Linda Stelmaszyk (Steve), Edward Bianco (Joyce) and the late Irene. Devoted grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 1. Lorraine was born and raised in Nashua, NH. She met Domenic at a USO dance during WWII. She lived for her family and was as close to perfection as a wife, mother and mother in law can get. Lorraine loved gardening, baking, sewing and entertaining her children and grandkids at their LBI beach house. She was an accomplished bowler and has the trophies to show it. Always the fisherman's wife, she spent many hours fishing with Domenic or waiting for him to return from many a weekend fishing excursions with friends and family. Lorraine was the co-founder, along with her husband of Industrial Millwrights Inc & Pioneer Maintenance & Erectors, Inc. She suffered in silence these past several years with an advanced heart condition. Lorraine was always pleasant and maintained her independence until the end with overwhelming support and attention from Domenic, who was her sole caregiver up until her recent hospitalization. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Falco/CARUSO & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Ave in Merchantville, where Lorraine has been a parishioner for almost 60 years. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in her memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 528 Fellowship Rd Mt Laurel, NJ 08054.
