There is no doubt she is in heaven, making escarole soup for those who passed before: her husband Cataldo who first courted her on Valentine's Day; parents Saveria and Leonardo Guarino; infant sister Maria and brothers Bartolomeo, Lou and John Guarino. She is survived by her brothers Nick Guarino (Charlotte) of Maple Shade and Anthony Guarino of West Deptford; sisters-in-law Jean Guarino of Maple Shade and Marie Guarino of Philadelphia; children Lewis (Kathleen) of Cherry Hill, Lenny (Peggy) of Pennsauken, Joanne Rhile (Thomas) of Pennsauken and Diane Honan (William) of Absecon. She was Mom-Mom to 12 grandchildren: Lisa, Lorraine, Sara, Stefanie, Kristine, Amy, Lew, Bart, Michelle, Matthew, Caitlin and Natalie. She was also GG to 12 great-grandchildren: Jessica, Julia, Anthony, Briana, Isabella, Marisa, Gabriella, Joey, Christina, Case, Kellen and Kathleen.    Her husband called her Smokin' Jo for her boisterous spirit. She loved the Jersey Shore, bowling, the Phillies and the 76ers. In 2000 during the NBA finals a local news channel featured her praying the rosary in front of a photo of the Sixers' Allen Iverson. At Strawbridge and Clothier in Cherry Hill, where she worked for 28 years, she regularly gave advice to CEO Peter Strawbridge. In London she enthralled a member of the British Parliament with whom she had lunch on the terrace of the House of Commons. Above all else, she loved her family. Born in South Camden in 1922, she was the lone girl among five brothers. She always wanted to be a nurse but was forced to leave school early upon the sudden death of her father at a young age. She worked hard her entire life to provide a strong foundation for her children. Her life will be celebrated at Falco/Caruso & Leonard Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road, Pennsauken, NJ where public viewings will be held on Thursday February 21, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday February 22 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.  Funeral Mass will be held at Mary, Queen of All Saints (formerly St. Cecilia's) Church at 4824 Camden Avenue, Pennsauken on Friday February 22, 2013 at 10:30am.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mary, Queen of All Saints Church.
