My heart and prayers go out to the Shiley family. I work and have known Tammy for only a short few months, but our conversations about her loving father told me so much about the man that I never personally had the honor of knowing. Through Tammy's recollections, I was able to understand that her father was devoted, loving, strong, and brave; a family man, with the support of a valiant brother and sisterhood of Fire Officers and members which he devoted much of his life towards; and whose mission his life seemed to mirror. For as the fireman's prayer states: "I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me." Please know, Tammy, that your father lived his life well, while fulfilling his calling and giving his very best to you and to your family. May God Bless you. With love, Wendie
