"Bill" Tambussi AGE: 79 • Cherry Hill passed away peacefully on May 22, 2011. Beloved husband of over 54 years of Catherine "Kate" (nee Ronca); devoted father of William M. (Barbara), Lawrence J. (Traci), Donna (Joseph Stanilla) and Mark D. (Sarah); loving grandfather of Julie (Nate Pieprzyk), William M., Caitlin and John "Mac" Tambussi; Shane and Paige Tambussi, Jennie and Emalie Stanilla, and Madeline, David and Stephen Tambussi. A veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War , Mr. Tambussi was a retired research and development engineer who was long employed at Boeing Vertol and later as a consultant to the aerospace industry. He is the holder of many patents relating to helicopters and caskets. A former president of the world-renowned Ballet des Jeunes and former president and coach of the Cherry Hill National Little League, he was an ardent fan and supporter of all of his children and grandchildren's activities. Mr. Tambussi was a legendary (although not always accurate) videographer of all family events and his grandchildren's accomplishments. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM and Thursday from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at the falco/CARUSO & leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of Christ Our Light (formerly St. Peter Celestine), 402 Kings Highway North in Cherry Hill. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill. The family requests memorial donations in Bill's name in lieu of flowers to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
