Retired, passed away on March 19, 2011 of Pennsauken, formerly of Somerton, PA. Age 80 years. Beloved husband of Margie (nee Rutledge). Devoted father of Jim (Micky), Jack and Lisa Hughes (Frank). Loving grandfather of Frankie, Andrew and Shannon. Dear brother of Raymond and Richard Thivierge. Also survived by dear friend Anne M. Flynn and many loving nieces & nephews. Prior to retirement in 1967, Mr. Thivierge was a US career Marine for 20 years. After his career in the military, Mr. Thivierge was employed as assistant Vice President for Fidelity Bank in Philadelphia for 18 years. He was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus St. Katherine Drexel in Philadelphia. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Stephen, 6300 Browning Rd, Pennsauken, N 08109. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Mem. Cemtery in Arneytown, NJ. The family would like memorial donations to St. Stephen's Church at the above address.
